Your host Eve Hogan talks to author Kristin Meekhof about the loss of her husband and her book A Widow’s Guide to Healing: Gentle Support and Advice for the First 5 Years.
Kristin Meekhof, LMSW, is a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, MariaShriver.com, Women That Soar, and other media outlets. Within days of her birth, she was abandoned on the streets of Seoul, Korea, and adopted by her parents, who lived in Michigan. When she was nearly five, her adoptive father died from complications related to cancer. Meekhof graduated from Kalamazoo College with a major in psychology and completed the master in social work program at the University of Michigan. She currently works as a clinical social worker.
