Explore how one form of meditation can help transform the world.

Feeling well, looking good, and being optimistic about your present and your future is a state of mind more than anything else, and so your state of mind conditions your everyday wellness. Most of us ride a roller coaster of feelings, and that ride can be exhausting until we discover meditation.

There is a tradition, at once philosophic and scientific, called the Ageless Wisdom Teachings, that is both ancient and totally modern in relevance. It comprises everything you need to know about being a human and about the possibilities of living fully and happily in this body at this time in your life and at this time in the life of all of humanity—a most interesting period indeed. The most recent statement of these basics of life is to be found in the books of British author and painter Benjamin Creme—specifically, Transmission: A Meditation for the New Age. So important is meditation to modern day humans that more and more of us are finding our way into its healing discipline.

Meditation is the “royal road” to making contact with that inner spark of divinity, that spiritual center, the Master within you, your Soul. Although there are many forms of meditation, more or less effective, one is very special. It is unique for its potency, safety, and simplicity, plus the fact that it is both a potent technique of personal spiritual development and an effective way to help make the world safe for future generations. It promotes love in the world and harmony among peoples and nations. It is both Laya Yoga and Karma Yoga wrapped into one. I’ve seen people cry in joy upon discovering this most beneficial practice: Transmission Meditation.

To participate in this meditation, you only need the desire to serve the world and the willingness to join with two or more others and sit together on a regular basis for one or two hours per week. Yes, hours...but the time will fly and you will be connecting with your own Soul. How? Simply by holding your attention at the ajna center between the eyebrows, saying the Great Invocation aloud, and periodically stabilizing the attention by thinking the mantra “OM.”

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the mind of God,
let Light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the heart of God,
let Love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the center where the will of God is known,
let purpose guide the little wills of men, the purpose
which the Masters know and serve.

From the center which we call the race of men,
let the plan of Love and Light work out.
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let Light, and Love, and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

In addition to long term practice of Transmission Meditation, Share International groups nationwide and in Canada and Puerto Rico also make public awareness presentations to herald the return of the World Teacher Maitreya and his group, the Masters of Wisdom, who have come to guide humanity out of our crises and toward creation of a new civilization based on compassion and right human relations.
