Garden City, Idaho looks pretty picturesque. Not so pretty: A candidate for the area’s city council has been spouting anti-Semitic ramblings.

I don’t know if we have any readers in Garden City, Idaho, but on the off chance we do, and on the off off chance that they are reading this essay, please, please, PLEASE don’t vote for Patrick Little in his bid to sit on your City Council.

Let me be clear: I don’t live in Garden City and have no right to vote in any Idaho election. And I have never met Mr. Little. All I know of him is what he himself has said. And what he has said scares the crap out of me. But then, I’m a Jew.

It is only natural to ask candidates running for office why they are doing so. Mr. Little’s answer is “The only way to challenge Jewish power in this country now is with local elections because it would have to be word of mouth.” I’m not sure that is a sentence let alone an answer, but I am certain (because I googled it) that the Jews are running neither “this country” nor his city. Of the 1.6 million people living in Idaho, only 2,200 are Jews. That means Jews make up .1375% of Idahoans. Of course, it is possible that all 2,200 Jews in Idaho live in Garden City (population 11,000), but since the city has no synagogue, I doubt it. So, what is Mr. Little’s problem with Jews? Simple: according to him the “top priority” of Jews is to displace white people.

I find this refreshing since so many of my liberal anti-Semitic friends think that Jews are white people and that our top priority is to displace people of color. Especially Palestinians. Personally, I don’t want to displace anybody, except maybe the guy who was sitting next to me on an airplane the other day eating an especially stinky sandwich, and I can’t remember if he was white, black, or Palestinian.

Anyway, Mr. Little is also concerned that Jews control the media, the entertainment industry, and politics. This is not true. If it were true, I would get a discount on my cable bill, Netflix would secretly give me the password of a Gentile so I could stream video for free, and Ivanka would be president instead of her dad. OK, that’s going to happen in 2024, but blame Putin not the Jews.

I think Mr. Little is deflecting. It isn’t the Jews who seek to control the country but Seven Mountain Mandate Christians who believe that before Christ can return Christians of their stripe must gain control of the seven mountains of power: education, religion, family, business, government/military, arts/entertainment, and media. Of course, if Jews do control several of these mountains that would explain why Christ has not yet returned.

Oh, one more thing: Mr. Little is a Holocaust denier.

So, once again, to my readers in Garden City: don’t vote for this guy. Even if you hate the other candidates running for City Council, don’t vote for Mr. Little. Even if you want to cast a protest vote, don’t vote for him. Even if you want to cast an ironic vote, don’t vote for him. But do vote. If you stay home, you may wake up one morning to see that your City Council is considering a bill to change the name of Garden City to Garten Stadt, and I’ll have to start paying full price for cable.
