Essential oils have become more popular today than ever, as science has found that pure therapeutic-grade essential oils have enormous benefits to our health. There is a huge community of people who are fascinated by their healing properties, myself included. These oils are used in Aromatherapy and also used topically when diluted.

After researching the compounds, I learned that these healing oils date back to Biblical times. I was reminded that in Biblical times the oils were applied to people’s feet. They did this because the pores of the feet are large and can absorb the oils more easily and quickly. Once absorbed into the body the oils can last up to a week. Now that’s amazing healing power!

One of the most precious oils is Frankincense. It has been used for centuries as a medicine because of its anti-inflammatory properties. It is used today as an incense in perfume, for treating asthma, gastroenteritis and skin conditions. It is also used for emotional balance, improving the immune system, the nervous system and the skin and nails. This oil contains 82% Sesquiterpenes. The compound is effective in treating Alzheimer’s disease, Lou Gehrig’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis. It is proven mood elevating, oxygenating and is said to deprogram miswritten or messed up DNA code, which I find fascinating! Research shows that a chemical compound in the resin of Frankincense demonstrates the ability to fight cancer in late-stage ovarian cancer cells.

We were given all of these natural tools to heal ourselves. I believe it’s time we get back to the basics and use the oils as they were intended. Read more about the healing energy of the Essential Oils in my new book; Wake Up! The Universe is Speaking to You. Visit me at
