According to theologian Matthew Fox in his new book, The Hidden Spirituality of Men (New World Library, November 2008), men's deep spirituality is expressed obliquely: through work; by a willingness to give all for family, country, tribe, or gang; as artist warriors who trust an outside source to provide for them; through committing their lives to justice; by their total dedication to life and love.
